Other Projects

When with audio is not only tweaking buttons in the studio. There is always some new exciting things to be done. Here you see some of the projects, that i’m involved in.

Nordic Room - NGO

Nordic Room - NGO

Cecillie Skytte Seas, Thorbjørn Lervig and I, founded Nordic Room in 2018. We felt that Aarhus needed a space for artist to be intimate with their audience. We wanted to create a space where it was possible to do things differently, and be in eye height with the audience. We wanted to create a showcase that was not limited by borders. Therefore we spend a lot of time, energy and money on producing livesessions for youtube. within the first year we recorded 19 sessions and had approximately 780 people in the audience for Nordic Room.

Hack Det - En podcast for unge kulturskabere (2019)

Hack Det - En podcast for unge kulturskabere (2019)

Music, editing, mix, mastering and publishing

Frontløberne released a book about creating culture. With the book, they wanted to release a podcast as a “light” edition of the book. Julie Meldgaard Smidt made 9 interviews, with some of Aarhus most comitted young culture creators, and i made it in to 9 different episodes.

In this project i also created a soundlogo and the music for the podcast. It had to be different, but still recognizably.

Frontløberne - Podcaststudio (2019)

Frontløberne - Podcaststudio (2019)

Fronløberne wanted to offer the users of their project-house, the opportunity to create podcasts inhouse. I decided to try and controll the acoustsics in the small room. I bould absorber-panels and a whole absorbent wall. I also decided to equip the studie with dynamic microphones from Røde, and a small recorder, so that fighting with computer drivers, and mac/windows compatibility wouldn’t be a concern.

Mågetown Studios (Aarhus, Denmark) (2019)

Mågetown Studios (Aarhus, Denmark) (2019)

In 2019 i moved the studio to bigger facilities. The name is mågetown. I decided to spend quite a lot energy on finetuning the acoustics, with absorbers and diffusers. We run new cables all over the studio, an set up all outboard with patchbays, for a fast, creative workflow.

Polyfon Studio (Haldum, Denmark)

Polyfon Studio (Haldum, Denmark)

Polyfon Studio, was the first studio i build. We started in an old storage facility, and completely rebuild it to a studio with a large control room, lounge, studio and vocal booth.
